A comedy-drama in the Hindi language, Dunki is an upcoming film that is based on the "donkey flights" method of illegal immigration admission. Rajkumar Hirani is the film's director and editor. Success
There were rumors in late 2020 that Rajkumar Hirani will work with Shah Rukh Khan on a movie. Khan heard Hirani tell the tale during the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020. This is Khan and Hirani's first joint project. Khan disclosed that he has turned down roles from Hirani in his films 3 Idiots (2009) and Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. (2003). Casting
Directing casting was done by Mukesh Chhabra. In January 2021, Taapsee Pannu was chosen to play the female lead, which was her first on-screen partnership with Khan.
